2025 4th International Conference on Green Energy and Power Systems (ICGEPS 2025) wrapped up successfully in Hangzhou!
From April 11 to 13, 2025, the 4th International Conference on Green Energy and Power Systems (ICGEPS 2025) was successfully held in Hangzhou. The conference was hosted by Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) and organized by the Institute of Carbon Neutrality and New Energy of HDU. The conference has received strong support from IEEE, the IEEE Nanjing Section, Zhejiang University Hainan Research Institute, Sanya Zongheng Energy Research Institute, Handan University, and AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center. Held in an online-offline hybrid form, the event facilitated in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies in the fields of green energy and power systems.
On the morning of April 12, Prof. Wensheng Yan, Conference Chair and Dean of HDU's Institute of Carbon Neutrality and New Energy, delivered the opening speech. He emphasized that the global energy transition has reached a critical phase, with breakthroughs and applications in green energy technologies serving as the core driver for achieving the "dual-carbon" goals. Prof. Yan highlighted Hangzhou's role as a “digital city” and a demonstration zone for green development, showcasing how the integration of technology and ecology can provide innovative solutions for the global energy transition.
The conference featured keynote speeches by six distinguished scholars, covering diverse topics such as photovoltaic materials, energy storage technologies, and smart grids. The speakers included Prof. Xinyu Tan, Dean of the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering at China Three Gorges University; Prof. Guoyu Li, Dean of the School of Information Engineering at Handan University; Prof. Wensheng Yan, Director of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality and New Energy at Hangzhou Dianzi University; Prof. Binxin Zhu from China Three Gorges University; Assoc. Prof. Muhyiddine Jradi from the University of Southern Denmark; and Assoc. Prof. Shuting Pang from Hangzhou Dianzi University.
Prof. Xinyu Tan (Three Gorges University): "Applications of Hydrophobic Radiative Cooling Films in Daily Life", revealing the industrial potential of zero-energy-consumption radiative cooling technology.
Assoc. Prof. Kang Yang (Handan University, representing Prof. Guoyu Li): "High-Precision Lithium Battery State Monitoring Based on Distributed Fiber Bragg Grating and Machine Learning", offering innovative solutions for intelligent battery management systems.
Prof. Wensheng Yan (Hangzhou Dianzi University): "AI Technology Accelerates the Research and Commercialization of Perovskite Solar Cells", proposing a new paradigm for AI-driven photovoltaic technology development.
