Prof. Dr. M. Prabhakar

Introduction: His research experience is focused on developing, testing and implementing high gain DC-DC converters for integrating renewable energy sources to a DC bus. He started his research in the year 2012 and he have been actively involved in synthesizing more than 20 high gain DC-DC converters. The voltage gain of the developed converters range from 15 to 25. The test results obtained from the prototype versions of the power electronic converters have been published in reputed journals.

From May 2022, he is associated with Centre for Smart Grid Technologies (CSGT), Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India as a Professor. In recent times, he is involved in synthesizing high gain multi-input converters. Presently, he is working on implementing machine learning-based algorithms to integrate the multiple photovoltaic (PV) sources to a common DC bus through asymmetric multi-input converters. This particular work is being funded by his university, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India under “Seed Fund Grant” proposal.


Prof. Dr. Mohd Shakir Md Saat

Introduction: Prof. Mohd Shakir Md Saat’s expert area is on controller synthesis of polynomial control system, also in wireless power transfer technologies, especially in Capacitive Power Transfer system. He has published more than 80 journals and refereed conference proceedings. He has published 1 book on Polynomial Discrete-Time System (Publisher: Springer). He is reviewer to many reputable journals such as IEEE Transaction, Sensors, Energies, COMPEL, and many others.


Prof. Dr. Zhongkai Yi
School of Electric Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology, China

Prof. Dr. Zhongkai YI, Associate Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Associate Editor of IET Renewable Energy Generation, Guest Editor in Chief of Power Construction/China Power/Processes/Energies, and Chairman of the Power System Technical Committee of the International Conference on Power and Renewable Energy. He has Published over 23 SCI (Q1) and CCF-A Class peer reviewed articles, authored 2 monographs, led 7 research projects and participated in 14 research projects. He has won the world championship of the NeuroIPS Citylearn Challenge, the first prize of the China Electric Power Innovation Award for Technical Achievements, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation in Beijing, the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Tsinghua University, the Best Paper Award of many International Conferences, and the Annual Excellent Paper in Core Journals. His research achievement have been published and reported on by multiple media outlets such as China Daily.


Prof. Dr. Mingfei Ban
Northeast Forestry University, China

Introduction: Ban Mingfei, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, High-level Talent in Heilongjiang Province, PhD in EE from Harbin Institute of Technology. He joined Northeast Forestry University in 2019 and is currently the Head of the Department of EE. His research interesting involves high-latitude low-carbon integrated energy system, coordinated optimization dispatching of renewable energy and electric vehicles, collaborative optimization of power system dispatching and air pollution control, microgrids and nanogrids with distributed energy and storage, and intelligent comprehensive monitoring systems based on wind-solar-storage-drone, etc.
